Beaux Arts Ball Old

You are here: Home1 / PARTICIPATE2 / Beaux Arts Ball Old

The Beaux Arts Ball, AIA San Antonio’s annual Gala, is an evening of creative design-inspired fun. Since 1993, thanks to success of this event and the incredible generosity of our sponsors has enabled our chapter to successfully fund scholarships, library resources, and lecture series for the benefit of our community, the San Antonio College Department of Architecture, the UTSA College of Architecture, and programming for the profession and the community at the Center for Architecture.

[re]vive!

Enjoy a feast for the senses at AIA San Antonio’s 2018 Beaux Arts Ball on Saturday, April 14 at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. Our chapter is excited to be the first event in the 2.5-acre Family Adventure Garden. This child-scaled landscape provides a playground of adventures for another fun-filled Beaux Arts Ball. Tiny Texas landscapes complete with ephemeral creeks, thundering ridges, beckoning hills, and tranquil pools will inspire you to [re]see all the beauty of springtime.

As you stroll through eleven unique areas, pause to [re]taste herbaceous cocktails and delicious bites of locally sourced and seasonally fresh ingredients prepared by local celebrity chefs.  You’ll [re]connect with literacy when you discover imaginative Little Free Libraries designed and built by local architects and their industry partners for Girl Scout Troop 300 as a Tricentennial gift to each of San Antonio’s ten City Council Districts. Shimmy under the stars as you [re]hear salsa, smooth jazz and hip vibes performed live. It’s an evening that will leave you [re]inspired and [re]vived!

Garden Party Attire!
