The Project Manager is responsible for a broad range of activities including initial site investigation, preparation of project scope details, the development of construction documents, and construction observation activities. He/she is the team leader for simultaneous projects in various stages of design and construction. This position will require ability to complete projects in a variety of market sectors: healthcare, office, retail, etc. Occasional travel for projects may be required.
Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communications
Coordinate and redline entire drawing sets
Resolve constructability conflicts and secure regulatory approvals
Manage submittals, RFI’s, and change orders during construction
Maintain and coordinate office BIM standards and Revit libraries
Develop, manage, and track overall project timeline and project budget
Direct and instruct inner-office technical personnel with specific tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently or with very limited supervision
Education: Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Experience: 5-7 years of commercial design experience & experience in Project management
Licensure: Preferred but not required
Must be proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCad, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
Familiar with Sketchup or other related rendering software.
