The Building Enclosure Council (BEC) is dedicated to advancing the performance, durability, and resilience of building enclosures through an open and collaborative forum committed to education, training, and professional exchange. A forum for AEC leaders to address building enclosure systems and their role in building performance, BEC promotes technology transfer, shares best practices, and connects emerging research with real-world experience to support high-quality, energy-efficient, and sustainable buildings.

BEC brings together architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, building owners, facility managers, code officials, educators, students, and industry partners to foster meaningful interdisciplinary and intergenerational collaboration. Through innovation, open dialogue, and continuous knowledge exchange, BEC supports the development of high-performance enclosure systems that strengthen the built environment and contribute to a more resilient future.
